Since a couple of weeks now I can't download any of the subscene subs anymore - I get an error saying "invalid server response"... Any help? Cheers FredCouples

 This is probably caused by your firewall/internet security suite. Especially Norton is problematic.

For a test, please disable all of the above for a second and try again. If it works now, you know who the "culprit" is...

Subscene needs referrers activated. Read here how to do it in Norton.

If all that does not help, try different browser, that could also help. Firefox is best. :-)

 It works indeed with a different browser (Firefox), but it worked before (but not anymore) with Safari (I am on a Mac, 10.4.9.), no firewall needed. Changing browsers while surfing is a major pain in the neck...what could I do to make Safari downloading the subs as usual?

 Something has been changed on subscene...and it has got to do with the referrers.

I am not a Mac OS pro, so I can't help you there. You might find a solution in Mac OS specific forums. Good luck.

Yea I have this problem too. It is Safari specific. You guys made a change somewhere in de back-end coding that screws things up for Safari. It really is not a problem we (the user) can solve. It can only be solved at the back-end. Will you please look into this? It is -very- annoying.

Latest version, Mac (don't know specifically, not at my computer right now)

It seems worth noting that everything works in Safari (version 3.1.2 build 525.21) on my windows machine. So maybe it is OSX related. I'll double check when I am back at home tonight.
